Sa ika-67 na kaarawan ni Edu Manzano noong September 14, isang matamis na pagbati ang natanggap nito sa kanyang girlfriend na si Cherry Pie Picache.

Nag-post ng mga mosaic photo ni Edu si Cherry Pie sa kanyang instagram at nilagyan niya ng maikling sweet message.
“To my good looking man, no doubt… more importantly is, to this good good human being….crazy, pero….who isn’t and he’s my crazy [different emojis],” mensahe nito.
“Happy happy birthday hon ko!!! ” pagbati nito.
“Thank you so much for sharing your gift of life to me and to so many others you so generously share it with,” pasasalamat nito kay Edu.

Dalawang dekada na mula ng matapos ang relasyon nina Edu Manzano at Cherry Pie Picache. Kinumpirma ni Edu ang muling pagmamahalan nilang dalawa noong November taong 2021.
Sa interview naman ng dalawa sa youtube channel ni Luis Manzano, sabay nilang kinumpirma ang kanilang pagbabalik relasyon. Kinamusta rin ni Luis ang puso ng ama nitong si Edu.
“Kahit papaano, nakakahinga ako ngayon nang malalim. Punumpuno ng saya. Nagkataon, after the twenty years, nanatili kaming magkaibigan. We never drifted apart. We always see each other sa iba’t ibang okasyon and sa iba’t ibang mga gatherings, and we would always be talking sincerely,” sagot nito.

“We knew that we still like each other,” pag-amin ni Edu.
Ayon naman kay Cherry, “We remained friends and we would always see each other. And then, every time we see each other, you know that there’s something different.”
“Pero me, I always tell him nga, like, maghihiwalay na kayo and you’d feel na parang iba… Di ba, may ganoon? Pero I would always dismiss it because your dad has always been a charmer. Yung karisma niya, iba talaga,” dagdag nito.
